The project site very small and with a difference in level between its extremes of more than 2 metres, it provides the formal solution for the future villa. It was decided to separate the building in two parts: a cubic volume in contact with the ground level in the access area and in the exit area to the garden, and a second volume differentiated by the overhang which helps free the space below it.
The first volume in grey is composed of a storeroom, the entrance on the ground floor, and the living room, dining room, and kitchen area on the first floor with direct access to the garden; in the second volume that is distinguished by the colour maroon takes notice in the bedrooms, bathrooms, and laundry area. This volume is shifted to free up the corner and provide views over the town and its castle to the connecting staircase, the kitchen, and the dining room.
The exterior colours of the two volumes, grey and maroon, differentiate them and are transferred to the interior of the villa where they intersect.
