At every stage of life, there is a new way of inhabiting. Casa Elite was born from that certainty: that the passage of time does not take away, but rather reveals what is essential. The project envisions an environment where calm, light, and companionship intertwine to shape a life that feels full, intimate, and shared.
Located in Cabo Norte, a private residential community in northern Mérida, the proposal emerges with a clear purpose: to transform the way we understand this stage of life. Instead of conceiving it as a conclusion, the architecture offers a different perspective—an opportunity to rediscover time, connections, and the experiences that give meaning to everyday life. In this way, the space becomes a vehicle for that idea, inviting both self-reflection and the creation of new friendships.
From its conception, the project sought to capture the essence of fulfillment within its spaces. Its volumes are organized along a predominantly north–south axis, maximizing natural light and cross ventilation while allowing most units to enjoy both sunrise and sunset through their windows. This relationship with time and nature becomes a symbol of the whole, reinforcing the idea that the most beautiful part of the day—the sunset—can also be the most beautiful part of life.
