Casa Duraznos is a single-family residence located in Zapopan, Jalisco, designed and completed in 2018. Conceived as a contemporary home, the project emerges from a sensitive approach that prioritizes harmony with its surroundings, as well as spatial and constructive quality.
The architecture of Casa Duraznos is defined by a sober composition that combines natural and modern materials, shaping a balanced and timeless language. The façade articulates these elements with clarity, incorporating large openings that open the house toward the landscape, allowing natural light to enter and establishing a constant visual relationship with the exterior.
The interior design responds to principles of comfort, functionality, and spatial continuity. The layout emphasizes social interaction in the common areas—such as the living room, dining room, and kitchen—through an open-plan configuration that encourages fluidity and everyday coexistence. At the same time, the private areas are designed to provide an atmosphere of calm and retreat, balancing the public and intimate dimensions of domestic life.
The selection of materials, high-quality finishes, and careful attention to constructive detail reflect V Taller’s commitment to an architecture that is not only aesthetically refined, but also durable and meaningful. Each design decision seeks not only to resolve functional needs, but also to generate a sensory and emotional experience for those who inhabit the space.
Casa Duraznos synthesizes a contemporary architecture that is sensitive to its context and executed with precision and warmth—an exercise in design that places the user at the center, in constant dialogue with the environment and with materiality itself.
