The proximity to a permanent preservation area and the geological features of the lot guided the architectural project and the construction of the Casa da Reserva. The irregular lot contributes to living on levels of the property, while the organic forms of the forest were essential to the definition of a contemporary design, rich in transparent materials and straight lines - which brings it out by contrast. The projection of the 382 m² blueprint specified the ground floor as the intimated area, the first underground as the social area, withi living room, dinning room, swimming pool, and gourmet kitchen, and the second with home-office, toy room and the service areas. Structurally speaking, the project is made up of concrete roofs, beams, and pillars molded on-site. "The high point of the structure is the balance of the master bedroom which covers the gourmet space, allowing the bedroom to overlook the green area and the gourmet area shadow with just one apparent supporting pillar" - the architect says.
