Located on high ground overlooking the Lagoa dos Ingleses, the house was designed to offer a panoramic view of the lagoon without losing privacy. To make better use of the triangular shape of the terrain and its topography, two blocks were proposed:
social and private, forming a n ''L'' shape. The social block, is all on the ground floor, allowing access from the back as well. The private block follows the same level as the social one, but due to the natural slope of the lot, it allowed the garage and service rooms to be positioned on the lower floor, also with direct access to the land.
Facing the street is the gourmet space, which by custom is already a less private part of the house, thus creating a visual block for the kitchen and living room. The gourmet and the kitchen are op posed and divided by an element that have a toilet and pantry and grows in volume to receive the water tank above the edification.
The fully integrated social area is separated from the intimate area by a slatted volume that have the fireplace for the living room and the linen closet facing the hallway. In this circulation there is also a shaft that allows the disposal of clothes to the service area. The intimate block has three equal suites and at the back, in the most private area, the master suite with
walk-in closet and bathroom. All the openings of these rooms face the back of the lot that borders a natural preservation area.
The high window, which runs through the entire social part, aims, in addition to natural lighting in all areas, privacy, considering that there is already a building with windows facing this side of the house. The brises run on two rails, being able to gather them all in one room or distribute them according to the incidence of the sun. If you put all the pieces together, the entire social area gains a large balcony, which connects with the deck and the lap pool.
