The House CL110 is located in Nordelta, Tigre, Buenos Aires province.
Is a single-family house developed in two levels, with a surrounding lake and principal nordelta avenue view.
At structural level, the intention was to resolve a completely free ground floor to integrate the exterior with the interior. The resolution arrives by means of two large inverted beams that rest on a crossed concrete wall, and from which all the upper floor volume with garden orientation hangs. The whole system transmits the loads to de sides of the house, and a single large column located where kitchen and dining room are articulated.
The house achieves its maximum relation to the outside through a sliding window that integrates the living room with the semi-covered gallery, the garden, and swimming pool in the background.
On a functional level, the resolution is quite classic, with public program (living-dining-kitchen-family) and service on the ground floor, and private sector on the top floor, where we find the master suite overlooking the garden, and on the other hand 4 secondary suites + an intimate living room next to the stairs.
As for materiality, given the structural need that forced the use of concrete, we opted for a bare finish. This added to the incorporation of wood and travertine for finishing details confers a warmth and modern character to the whole house.
