The house “float” above the terrain, taking advantage of the slope wich helps appreciate the views of the Cantabrian mountains more, the room seem to move allowing each other space so that everyone can share this vision.
The different floors are mere cases of this adaptation “gesture”, the interior is continuous, only breaking up where necessary. The façade surrounds the bedrooms of the top floor, creating a common exterior area at the same time containing their dramatic movement.
Access can be gained over two opposite hanging ramps, yet again the idea of floating is manifested entrancing into the house from the orientated space.
The enclosure of the façades of aluminium sheeting helps to comprehend this enveloping idea. The steel pillar structure and concrete floors accentuate this idea of continuity. The concrete covering of the western facade marks both the beginning and the ending of the encasement.
