The house is built between walls of 3.95 meters wide located in a semi-pedestrian street in the old part of the neighbourhood of Gracia. The house takes place on the first, second and roof floor and there is a recording studio located in the basement, because the owner wants to combine his daily home with his professional career.
The staircase is the central part of the house, and it works as the main route between rooms, as well as a sculptural element that runs throughout the building as it is present in every interior perspective.
The following materials are applied: oak parquet for dry flooring in general, grey micro cement for the bathroom flooring, grey micro cement on wet walls and white painted walls, white lacquered custom furniture, steel for the staircase, and these materials are all to provide neutrality and luminosity to the interior of the house.
The main facade and the roof are projected with slate stone, as it is a requirement of the property and once it provides a noble entity to the building which may not be emphasized dus to its small dimensions.
