Casa AP project revolutionizes the original 1950s layout of the house in its entirety.
Structural and plant constraints formed the matrix of the central distribution corridor, which became the focal point of the project.
American walnut takes center stage, alternating between storage spaces and access to the bedrooms, characterized by lacquered portals. The furniture seamlessly continues into the living area, becoming the backdrop for the large dining table in Calacatta Monet marble, custom-designed.
The long corridor culminates in the master suite, accessed through the walk-through wardrobe.
The floor plan development of the bathroom allowed for the creation of the central volume, clad in Brazilian green quartzite, housing a bathtub and double shower, thus becoming a separating element between the sanitary area and the washbasin.
Attention to custom furniture design, along with meticulous detailing and material selection, are strengths in the creative process of DC|EF studio.
