The Amaña Residence, situated in Taipus de Fora within the Maraú Peninsula (BA), was designed by architect Junior Andrade. The property occupies a 5,000 square meter plot and has a total built-up area of 550 square meters. The project comprises two modules: the first includes the main house, featuring three suites, a living room, a built-in kitchen, an infinity-edge pool with a deck and a gourmet area. The second module, located in the back, comprises two exclusive bungalows with private spas and a breathtaking 360° view of the natural surroundings. The house also boasts a private lake, which visually connects with the property, emphasizing its integration with nature.
Last year, the project was completed, inspired by the use of local materials such as Cumaru and Angelim woods that perfectly complement the region's exuberant natural beauty. The concept of the project was to adapt and integrate the house with the surrounding environment. The openings of the windows and miters offer a constant connection to nature, while the infinity-edge pool was strategically placed to create a sense of being within the house's lake. The use of local labor and materials further enhanced the project's regional identity. "The integration of the house with nature was our main objective, achieved through a harmonious connection between the property and its surroundings," said architect Junior Andrade.
