The program required fitting a lot into a small package-- 3 bedrooms, pool, double height living room, and a premium when close to the city center, off street parking. The house does all this in a compact and efficient design, not a single cm is wasted. Outdoor spaces are strategically placed to create vistas to the exterior in any part of the house. In the front elevation, since the carport takes up a significant portion of the narrow lot, the "true" elevation is pushed back and employs a sculptural effect to help draw visual attention away from the carport. The sculptural wall also becomes a dynamic visual experience from inside the home.
