Reformation of an apartment of 51 square meters located in old town of Pamplona. Initially, the attic apartment was overly compartmentalized and very poorly illuminated because of the size of the windows that were faced to a narrow courtyard.
The proposed intervention provides day areas (living room, kitchen, dining room) and the nigth area (bedroom) at the end, towards the street and the courtyard respectively. Each other are joined by a corridor that agglutinates the essential services of the dwelling (bathrrom, storage, washing machine).
In order to maximize the entrance of natural light, skylights are opened on deck in every room of the house, including the bathroom, what gives it a remakable verticality.
The material treatment of the house alternates the use of wooden floorboards in floors, walls and ceillings of the noble areas of the house with white ceramics in the service areas, which increases the sensation of luminosity.
