CartonBuild was created with the desire to design sustainable solutions for the ephemeral world of events. Stands and event structures made out of cardboard; smart and modular designs that adapt to the type of event and venue.
One of the latest designs was launched this week at the Automobile fair in Barcelona, commissioned by Smart City Expo World Congress. The exhibition stand is reusable and recyclable and will be set up at upcoming trade fairs such as Innovate 4 Climate and Biz Barcelona. A step towards more sustainable trade fairs that is consistent with the company’s values.
The designs are envisaged to be mixed and matched so that each structure can be customized and has its own identity. In this case, cardboard was combined with different-coloured strips of material in order to create a fun and striking effect as well as generating a private meeting area.
Built out of light and foldable material whilst offering the same safety guarantees as other materials’ commonly used in events, transport is reduced and with it your carbon footprint.
So far, the models have had a great impact at the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona and 50+ stands were built at the latest 4YFN events, a global business platform for start-ups which attracted over 20.000 visitors, and were then reused at other events according to the clients’ needs.
CartonBuild is an initiative by LD Eventos. Eventoplus Silver Award in the category of best new product for events.
