Car-Land House
This project is the final assignment of the 1st year, 2nd semester. The task was to develop a private house for a special family who have 2 children. Father is a fisherman, mother is a housewife , older son is a pupil whereas the younger still visits a kindergarten. Every of them has own preferences. The location is in Riga, Peksena street, 7a. Also there are two trees, which are not permitted to touch.
The house consists of two floors. The ground floor is for general using: hall, garage, living room, kitchen, toilet. The ground and the first floor are connected by a stair, which consists of several levels. The main level divides the first floor into two parts: for children and for parents. On the same time the stair has enough place for taking a rest and reading books.
The project differs by its unusual form, which was developed by considering the site plan and connecting several geometrical parts. Also there are many big windows which provide a lot of daily light and not only from walls but also from the top.
