Located in the quarter of the former Railroad Station downtown Querétaro, amidst a historical monument, yesteryear constructions and traditional “cantinas”; this little Mexican flavor oasis come into being as an alternative for the residents and visitors of the area. Found on the ground floor of a co-working giving service to its partners, the locals and the attendees of the cultural activities done during the weekends.
It is a space designed to solve harmoniously the diner’s comfort and the efficiency in the operation of CAO CAO´s team. Stands out the truthfulness of the apparent materials that were selected with intense traffic in mind, warranting that with daily cleaning and adequate maintenance doesn’t lose the quality image involved in the whole concept.
It has a corner bar where the whole operation may be seen and works as a divider between the salon and the kitchen. The distribution makes the most of the floor to ceiling windows towards the street and solves the different needs of the customers with tables for 2 or 4 people that can be put together to receive larger parties.
The colors and dynamic of the local’s artist work on exhibition, as well as the artisan products in display, blend with the industrial architecture receiving them. The lighting seems to float over the diners and mixes with the natural light coming in from the exterior, providing the customers a warm and homey experience.
