Located on the Walk of Fame in the heart of Hollywood, Camden Hollywood offers a sophisticated respite from the vibrant 24-hour Hollywood lifestyle. Currently a vacant parking lot, the site provides the final linkage along Vine Street between Sunset Boulevard and the world-famous intersection of Hollywood & Vine.
The site was once the filming location for the first Hollywood motion picture, The Squaw Man. As a response to its history, the building’s four stone-clad towers incorporate street-activating art depicting life-size characters telling this story and humorously interacting with the building.
With significant view opportunities, the building parti opens up to embrace the community. Building wings reminiscent of historic neighborhood residential buildings frame top-floor courtyards creating outdoor spaces that become places to “see and be seen.” Clean, simple modern materials and forms reflect Hollywood’s Golden Age, yet reinforce the new emerging Hollywood. The first-floor entry lobby actives the street level and connects to Equinox fitness center. Billboard signage carefully integrates with the architecture to maximize visibility and functionality as well as fulfill the new vision of signage for Hollywood.
The 287-unit upscale residential community blends California chic with the hospitality and esthetic of a cosmopolitan boutique hotel and targets entertainment industry professional.
