In December 2013, this Residence in Camarillo won a design award from the Ventura County Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. It was one of only three winners in the Residential Category, and the judges said, “This residential remodel touches the land and the existing structure with a light hand, integrating basic sustainable strategies and a selection of simple added forms and materials to reinvent this site.”
