Between a glass and steel office building and the banks of the Sacramento river, there's an urban farm for West Sacramento to enjoy as they traverse the riverwalk.
Calstrs commissioned Farmscape to build this small orchard and ten-raised-bed project as part of a larger initiative to create an extremely low-water landscape. The raised beds serve as inspiration for visiting teachers, and grow food for the Calstrs Cafe.
Farmscape maintains the project in conjunction with the chefs and Calstrs Green Team.
