The project proposes an urban solution according to the following principles and objectives :
- Create a new model of urban space , able to continue through the streets of Old Town giving value to the existing architectural heritage.
- Provide a picture with pedestrian priority keeping the car - pedestrian coexistence .
- Incorporate urban elements that provide added value to the environment.
- Facilitate the accessibility to people with disabilities .
- Include materials durability , easy maintenance and cleaning.
- Plan existing and future systems beyond the scope of project facilities to avoid ditches and later excavations in the area of this project.
