Historic Preservation's defining moment - the National Historic Preservation Act - is now fifty years behind us. Are there "new acts" that can propel our practice into the future - whether through innovation, outreach, or strategic partnerships. What are the "new assets" of the 21st century that will expand our notion of "preservation," and protect places that matter most to people.
There will be over 50 sessions, workshops, tours, meetings and events at the Conference led by experts in their respective fields, including architects, engineers, planners, commissioners, historians, preservationists, designers et. al.
Join the California Preservation Foundation and the Presidio Trust in San Francisco to explore our past and look ahead to a 50-year horizon at the Presidio of San Francisco - perhaps the biggest preservation success story of the 20th century.
