With a nod to eco-friendly Alpine modernism, architects Markus Gohm and
Ulf Hiessberger have gutted a grand townhouse in the heart of Feldkirch and
transformed it into a retro espresso bar. Sprucing up the space with a polished
concrete floor and a sleek bar made of beaten black iron, they then filled it
with slick Italian furnishings. Locals of all ages come for their coffee fix,
and stay for prosecco, cocktails and bar snacks.
