accumulation of vertical elements in where life does not sprout, there is no
trade between the artificial and natural.
The Forest Green, The Mountains; with their section uneven but similar outline.
The workplace offers a unique opportunity by have not a
boundary with the nature, if not of
establish a balance, concrete and green, artificial and natural. conditions
unique to join the city and nature.
The project be composed of a cluster of
similiar and different elements which try to establish a hidden geometry of
natures, builds an artificial geography a forest of mountains between the city skyline.
The idea for this project is preserve the old buildings
facades with his natural cover of vegetation because we consider very valuable
the natural factor in a city what is in constant increase. A new concrete
jungle , from this vegetal facades we plan three principal volumes who are
unite with a connector element , these volumes are how three big mountains
because we want give a contrast to the Beijing city skyline, these buildings contains big part of the program
in a many variety of different spaces , simple spaces , double high spaces
according to the space relevance, we have big rooms for the different kind
industries and other complementary uses , rooms for differents activities and
exhibitions, and the cultural center.
In the entrance the visitors will found a very dynamic
public space with three big platforms , one of this is the cover of a high
subterranean exposition gallery ,this space cross the project lengthwise and
finish in a open space lower in relation
with the level of first floor.
