Concept
Working with an NGO and Diamond Energy the Cabarita beach shelter provides a solar powered community event space at the heart of the Tweedshire village.
A dynamic waveform structure provides shelter for a wide variety of community events while supporting a hanging solar array that can be seen from below. The shelter sits within parkland between the surf club and the beach and incorporates bicycle storage, computer and phone charging points and an interactive LED landscaped platform.
