The existing house is located on a large block within a heavly vegetated gulley.  The house was aging, pooly orientated, and heavily shaded. The idea was to create a new oasis or clearing within the forest. The clearing becomes a major landscape room including a sunny lawn and pool, a bright sheltered deck, and eat-in kitchen.
