This is a luxury villa located in Peyia, a village in Cyprus. The design concept was defined by the breathtaking views of the site. As a result, the house volume has to be open and transparent to the sea view. This is accomplished by using straightforward geometric shapes in a contemporary, minimalist approach. The building's roof acts as the primary structural component of the synthesis by anchoring the structure to the earth and creating a strip that covers the southern façade as well as the walkway leading to the villa's entrance. We chose to keep things straightforward and blend in with the surrounding environment. To enhance this interaction, we highlighted the similarities and other times the differences by choosing to use natural elements like wood, stone, and concrete along with white-painted walls and cutting-edge aluminum systems.
