Concept

While starting to project the spatial and visual problems of surrounding considered. The visual aspect of the site from silhouette is strongly the discordant in the sense of relationship between the buildings and urban elements. The mosque’s façade has design to be silent as possible in order to not to create more noise in these chaos. But with the vertical openings on the minaret, façade and the roof creates a delicate awareness for the building. It has aimed that this building can add a cultural value. The Structure has been selected as bare concrete with wooden texture, because of its sustainable and compatible nature with the island’s wooden buildings.
Another important issue was to create a plan scheme that can answer the problems of the area. Creating a comfortable and peaceful place of worship with the secondary places that can have right connections was the main aim. These secondary spaces are designed multi-functional spaces that can be used as the external praying areas in the forms of open and semi-open public spaces that people can interact and socialize.
