Kennedy Garden is the name of this project, which the Viennese housing developer Buwog has placed in the heart of Penzing's historic suburbs. A large Siemens office building once stood here, just steps from the Kennedy Bridge. In 2013, Buwog decided to purchase and rezone the approximately two-hectare site. Where work was once carried out, mid- to high-priced residential properties are now being built. The mammoth project comprises 512 apartments under the euphemistic, well-chosen marketing title "Kennedy Garden."
