Pointing forward and outward, the new butterfly creek winery is
designed to attract people from all over to enjoy the wine created from within
its cellars. The concept of the design is to separate the facility by
functions, whereas the production area of the winery is separate from the
public areas. In materials and form the
two main structures are different to express their different functions, but both
are similar in scale so that they will be related. The shed roof of the public
building opens up to the creek to the east so as to connect the built
environment to the natural environment.
