Busua is already known as a gracious host to travelers from other parts of Africa and from around the world. The purpose of the Busua Community Tourist Center (CTC) is to employ this reputation in order to increase the influence that the local population has on the direction of development in the area. Community infrastructure will grow in step with the wants and needs of the residents of Busua.
This will be the place where the division between visitor and local begins to dissolve. Community members can proudly share their remarkable way of life, skills, and natural environment from a facility founded on the principle of self-determination. They will have the opportunity to establish international relationships from a platform of equality bolstered by the collective strength of the CTC. Visitors will be encouraged to promote the health of the community through a small donation and a respect for the culture they are introduced to.
