We received a request by the famous blind artist Busser Howell to fabricate a freestanding balcony. This private backyard is rejuvenated by the presence of this freestanding structure, creating a canopy for the ground floor and balcony for the second story. We used blackened steel I-beams and structural steel to keep in harmony with the clean lined architecture. The structure stands almost daintily on the adjustable feet that are integrated into the legs. The tempered glass provides unobstructed views.
