This home is located along the railroad tracks on the outskirts of Miyazaki City.
By using red cedar for the exterior walls, it blends in with the scenery of the countryside and the railroad tracks. The living room was planned to be higher, taking into consideration line of sight to the trains. Rather than a home with a wide open south-facing view, openings were provided on the east side and partly on the south side, creating a comfortable, well-lit living, dining, and kitchen area.
