This project was a residential renovation of a mid-century bungalow that needed to find it’s ‘modern’. In the end, it’s a mid-century modern bungalow, but it didn’t start that way and it needed some surgery to find that mojo. The clients (who genuinely are) much more ‘modern’ than their house’s prior iteration, engaged in their old friend (Anthony Provenzano Architects) to design the way through a reno-expansion of their family home.
