A renovation of a detached 60s bungalow in the commune Wells, located on the edge of the Puttersbos.
The client asked for a new plot format, where the existing pool, workshop and garage, gives space for a new building, shed and carport. The sauna previously been located in the studio, now located in the new extension of the bungalow, next to the gym room. The new carport replaces the existing garage and gives space for a new barn.
In the new extension, the style of the renovated 60s bungalow is approached by a brick column; that supports the cantilevered carport and gives the structure a clear end.
