This gallery, located in the commercial space at BA’s 245 Tenth Avenue building in Chelsea, NY, consists of two complementary display spaces. Along with the 2 primary display areas, the project also accommodates space for administrative functions, storage and a private viewing area. The front gallery, with street frontage onto 24th Street and a soaring, skylit rear gallery provide for various lighting and display conditions. Marked by 22’ ceilings and monumental skylights, the rear gallery is a flexible space for a wide array of artists working in digital and conventional media. The gallery shows a wide range of media, with a focus on cutting edge digital art, including the works of noted artists Edward Burtynsky, Jim Campbell, Ben Rubin, Monika Bravo, and Jonathan Girard.
