The Bryant Art Center was created out a need for additional classroom space and community spaces that was sorely lacking in the existing building. The challenge of the problem was working around and preserving the look and feeling of the existing building. Beyer Blinder Belle was able to open up the entire center of the original building, bringing natural light to the very core of what used to be dark studio space; and a modern addition was able to provide the students with state of the art facilities.
