Ideas and concepts distilled down from a 'network/cluster city' precedent played on the ideas of micro vs macro.  'Once you know a drop in the Ocean, you know the whole Ocean'.  Working from the scale of the University campus, the medical college was homed in on and re-scaled again and again using an interactive scripting method designed and re-designed as the scale increased.  Methods of connectivity and porosity were of the highest importance, along with a devotion to following the one idea all the way down to the smallest detail.
