Type
Project consist on 5-level residential/commercial building with underground parking placed on corner of Brossa and Ślężna streets. Investment located in the very center of Wrocław city along one of the most important circulation path Ślężna street, has around 90 apartments in differenced surfaces also with “duplex type”, each including terraces or balconies. On the ground level has independent commercial unit accessible form Brossa street. Residential building was designed as a gallery-staircase system where each apartment is accessible trough inner courtyard. Apartments are designed in varied plans with keeping functional zoning and allowing double side natural ventilation and sun lighting. Investment is supplemented with underground parking containing suitable amount of parking places for designed functions.
The idea in designing process project was to create proper and humane living space enrolled in right functional program and modern architectural form. The main aim of the project and complicated plot area determined original functional scheme solution. The inner courtyards/atrium are the general elements of building, “the living heart” of a modern “habitat” giving a pleasant and presentable entrance zone combined with the function of private green courtyard. Formal disposition scheme allows to design apartments in comparable standard, keeping internal functional zoning and double side natural ventilation and sun lighting. The simple and elegant architectural character of the investment was archived by using natural material as bricks, wood and plaster in a bright subdued colures. Spatial relations are harmoniously connecting residential, commercial and parking function in that manner which allows creation of private and public zoning in the site plan arrangement as well as in the building scale.
