This incredible site in lovely beach-side Bronte in New South Wales maximises views to the beach and connections to outside spaces by setting a new family home over four levels .
Perched on a steep site but concealed from the street, the planning takes full advantage of the topography and provides a full aperture to the view on all levels while providing a practical, liveable home.
A side courtyard collects the midday and afternoon sun. Two intersecting skillion roofs follow the fall of the natural ground levels to drop articulated northern light deep into the heart of the house.
The plan is arranged to provide a graduation of private spaces progressing through to the upper levels of the house.
