A fit-out for the British Olympic Association of their on-the-spot HQ for the duration of the 2012 Games. ‘Team GB House’ occupied the entire 24,000sqft 8th floor of a new glass office building in Westfield’s Stratford City and accommodated BOA’s operational event management and hospitality functions. Facilities included hospitality suites, interview rooms, a press conference hall and the Proctor & Gamble sponsored lounge for friends and family of the athletes, The venue was the home base for the British team and BOA’s Managing Victory celebrations held in the 250 capacity VIP lounge overlooking the Olympic Park.
A dynamic wall, of broad high gloss white ribbons sweeps around to create a dramatic reception with glimpses through the slots between to their offices. BOA’s collection of Olympic torches are displayed along the ribbon wall with stories illustrating their philosophy for success. It is intended to extend these themes at Stratford incorporating more of BOA’s unique collection of Olympic memorabilia and embodying their philosophy for 2012 ‘Better never stops’
