BRITISH AMERICAN TOBACCO HEADQUARTER
The structure of the building has been arranged in an organic shape. The elasticity of the concept gave rise to the design of a multidimensional polygon. The basic geometry of the factory complex was the rectangular old structure on the north - west, its extended portion joined diagonally with another rectangle. The joining of the two rectangles is treated with a circle. The rectangular forms are the workplaces for the employees. The circle in the middle serves as the meeting place for the officials working in the office creating a dramatic environment in the office that breaks the monotony and discipline of every day work.
In BATB, the pride of unity in the workplace is deliberately emphasized on, rather than the elegant segregation of namely blue and white collar popularly accepted in other corporate workplaces.
