The BRIK-LIB stands at the center of the five-hectare campus in Dien-Duong, Quang Nam. Rather than appearing as an isolated object, it anchors a quiet ensemble of everyday campus buildings — kindergarten, reception, swimming pool and learning blocks — all surrounded by the poplar tree garden that defines the character of the site.
From afar, the library reads as a long brick wall punctured by large circular voids. Yet behind this solid presence lies a porous interior. The ground floor remains open, allowing air, movement and campus life to pass beneath the building. Circulation unfolds through stairs, corridors and study spaces, creating shifting perspectives as students move through the book-filled environment.
The brick envelope forms a deep double façade that filters heat and sunlight in the tropical climate. Two layers of solid brickwork create both structure and enclosure, giving the building its quiet weight and permanence. Circular windows are set deep within the wall, their placement shaping subtle dialogues between interior spaces and the surrounding landscape.
Together with the central square and the concrete sculpture Flower by Pham Van Hang, the library defines the spatial heart of Skyline Hill Campus — a place where architecture frames calm, study and moments of reflection between the poplar garden and the sky.
