Remodelling of paired penthouse apartments overlooking a public square in South London. The existing designs suffered from extreme solar gain in summer and heat loss in winter. The new design reconsiders the neighbouring buildings' rooflines as one, addressing the existing problems and providing a positive contribution to the skyline. The designs explore a new relationship with the previously compromised views across central London.
