Commissioned by the Oklahoma City Public Works Department on behalf of the Oklahoma City Police Department, The Small Group provided full programming and A/E design services through owner occupancy for a new police substation on the north edge of Bricktown near downtown Oklahoma City.
An existing railroad freight building was rehabilitated for the public lobby of the new station and approximately 9,500 square feet of additional space provide a Lineup Room, Office, Men's and Women's Locker Rooms and Shower Facilities, and a Vehicle Storage bay.
The project is designed to fit within the context of the historic Bricktown District and is used as an operational headquarters for special events.
