The goal of this project was to designa public park for Brickell, a high density residential/ commercial part of downtown Miami. The site is a narrow strip of land currently serving as a parking lot. Given that the site is surrounded by highrises, the park was designed to be viewed not only from the street, but also from above. The site is treated like a painting, in which curving pathways and angular gardens become the composition. In an effort to simplify maintenance and upkeep, and to conserve water, only native Floridian plants have been specified.
