The brick house
A standard two-bedroom apartment in the sprouting suburbs of Indore housing our clients, a
young couple with a child, was designed to embrace the growth of the family.
The aim was to facilitate fluid intercommunication through an open zone converging from the
kitchen, living room, and bedrooms.
While entering the house a rose-gold mirrored panel with angled grooves greets you leading to
the arched passage.
The subsequent living area is divided into two- one brick oriented and the other concrete oriented
which creates a unifying effect arising from the earthen materials. The brick-walled region has a
lively abstract carpet underneath to pair with two printed sofa chairs while the concrete-walled
panels are offset by a rich emerald sofa and a jazzy blue ottoman chair.
The master bedroom allows ample sunlight and the headboard adds subtleness to the room. The
kid room is spacious allowing room for storage and a contrasting molded wall is designed to
make the hand-drawn paintings hung to simmer out. The balcony has a top-to-bottom artificial
green wall with a neon sign.
All in all, this is an abode for unwinding and relaxing in this busy suburban town.
Thank you
