The AR experience zone within the National Museum of Korea's Immersive Digital Gallery offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore an idealized space where reality, utopia, past, and present coexist. Set within a utopian garden filled with the scent of flowers, the exhibition draws inspiration from the traditional Korean hanok, blending nature with cutting-edge technology. The garden features elements that evoke warmth and life, such as bird and tiger-patterned illustrations, which celebrate the creatures of nature. Designed to be a restful and comfortable space, it also showcases craft products that combine traditional craftsmanship with high-quality, functional design. The screen near the entrance introduces historical content that responds to the motion of viewers, offering an interactive way to engage with the past. In the AR experience zone, visitors can walk through a digital archive and even restore historical artifacts themselves, marking the exhibition as Korea's first permanent display using the advanced technology of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In collaboration with the Nakhwa (traditional wood-burning) Master, the designer has also created specially crafted furniture and objects that further enrich the space, blending cultural heritage with modern innovation.
