BPN is the most recent addition to the IPG Mediabrands corporation, which predicts, identifies and adapts to the latest media trends and technology. They engaged Ted Moudis Associates to design and brand a new space to embrace this new alliance.
The BPN space is immediately recognized in the elevator lobby with the brilliant orange glass entry. It provides a reminding glow in an otherwise crisp reception area of white tile and gray walls. The graphic wallcovering in the reception captures an initial introduction to the new company with word clusters and branded images. The rustic dark wood sliding barn doors provides an eclectic view into the conference room and allows for privacy when they are closed. Similar to other BPN collaboration rooms, this large space provides tackable and writable wall surfaces as well as additional seating on one wall with built in benches. Integrated audiovisual equipment provides the opportunity to connect with clients and other IPG Mediabrands partners.
BPN welcomed the collaborative office concept and utilizing the IPG Mediabrands desking furniture standard with no dedicated private offices. Their office views of Chicago’s busy Mag Mile location was a perfect opportunity to continue the vibrant community approach. Painted white open ceilings and pendant lighting deliver a clean palette above and allowed the flooring to reflect their branded colors. Slight angles in the architectural walls & ceiling along with the solid color carpet intersections, guide you through the space. Large dynamic branded graphics on the glass collaboration rooms offers privacy to the occupants. The spirited Café space and colorful faucet spickets installed on the wall provide the staff a place to hang their coats but also is a reminder of the young energy within BPN.
