A dilapidated and abandoned 4,450 square foot fast food restaurant has been redesigned as a new medical office building. The new facade relates to the fabric of the Boynton Beach Federal Highway corridor and the building’s palette is neutral in response to the objective of portraying a simple classic form. The owner’s program required a simple box with a new look, an efficient circulation path, maximum exam rooms, and a limited budget. The re-design retains the existing mechanical/electrical room and exterior walls and re-faces the building with EIFS, remodels the existing trusses and adds a new parapet and aluminum awnings to create a healthy new facade for this primary care and walk-in medical center.
