The corrugated metal panels of the commercial building’s façade were clad with bright colors inspired by industrial references. The colors were distributed according to the position of the office spaces. Each floor’s outdoor surface was given an identification code. These vertical “codes” painted on the metal with white car paint give information such as the altitude of the floors in relation to sea level and the cardinal directions the façades face, North, South East or West. This playfully reveals to the public the relation between architecture and nature. The design of the flooring is made up of two different shades of concrete stone, forming large bands on the ground in an allusion to zebra crossings. The large concrete wall at the entrance of the building features an art installation made of rebars. The rebars, which were bent into an L shape, were set into the wall to form a regular grid. Each arranged in a different way, the rebars compose a flowing image. This organic drawing contrasts to the straight lines of the architecture.
