Boston Valley Terra Cotta

Boston Valley Terra Cotta is unique manufacturer of architectural terra cotta products. Their markets include the comprehensive restoration of historically significant structures and sustainable, rain screen panels for new construction. The demand for product required a fast track design and construction of an addition (Phase 4) to the production facilities to house a new kiln and to provide sufficient space for the quality assurance and shipping departments.
Built on a sloping site with marginal soils, the foundation system was set on piles driven to sound bearing. The facility is a pre engineered structure using Boston Valley’s Terra Clad panels for enclosure.
Responding to the need for fitting office space, Phase 5 of the project brought together the office functions into one contiguous structure of 7,000 SF that is a showcase for the capability of the Terra Clad rainscreen product.
